Helolokal Open-Dated Gift Booking — Terms & Conditions

1. Upfront Payment
   All gifted experiences are paid in full by the giver at the time of booking. No additional payment is required from the recipient unless they choose to upgrade or add extra services.
2. Open Date Validity
   Each open-dated voucher is valid for 6 monthsfrom the date of purchase (or any timeframe you decide). If the recipient does not redeem the voucher within the validity period, the booking will be cancelled and non-refundable. Extensions may be requested subject to host approval.
3. How to Redeem
   Recipients must redeem their experience by contacting Helolokal or the host directly (using the booking instructions provided). Dates are subject to availability — we recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance.
4. Changes & Upgrades
   If the recipient wishes to change the experience or upgrade (e.g. add extra guests, meals, transport), they may be required to top up the price difference.
5. Host Cancellation
   If a host is unable to honour the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, Helolokal will work with the recipient to find a suitable replacement date or a similar alternative experience.
6. Refunds
   Once purchased, open-dated bookings are non-refundable. However, if a host cannot provide the service due to force majeur or unavoided emergencies and no alternative is acceptable, Helolokal may issue a refund to the original purchaser.
